Friday funnies!

My world may have been rocked by the late-night quakes, but my humour remains THE SAME! Sorry.
I was talking to SuperTherapist the other day, and she whispered some sayings to help maintain that sense of calm and serenity that is necessary when returning to work after a week away. I’m not so sure this was all that helpful...”Be patient and achieve all things. Be impatient and achieve all things faster.”
Neither were these, probably…

Be aware of your body.
Be aware of your perceptions.
Keep in mind that not every physical
sensation is a symptom of a terminal illness.

To practice Zen and the art of therapeutic
motorcycle maintenance, do the following:
get rid of the motorcycle.
What were you thinking? – and you’ve run out of duct tape.

  1. I’d rather die laughing than just die. Our local paper had a tribute to a survivor of the Bataan Death March. His widow commented, “”Every one of those who came home had a sense of humor,” she said. “Every one.”

And I’m a huge fan of duct tape (and the televised paen to it, Canadian program The Red Green Show). 🙂

    1. Where would we be without duct tape huh? I have inherited my father’s sense of humor which makes for some strange moments in our household! As long as the humor isn’t putting anyone down, I think it really makes the world go round even better than duct tape!
