Jeremy has written a piece on three strategies to improve positive feelings – and they’re based on science!

One is to visualise your best possible self – somewhat realistically, not ‘I will be a supermodel’ (huh! like that would happen!!), write out a description of your best possible self, and it has been found to promote good feelings.

Helping others features – generating lots of good feelings., these random acts of kindness can be quite simple, and may even be reciprocated!

And the final one reminds me of one of those old gospel songs ‘Count your blessings, name them one by one’ – expressing gratitude by listing the things we are grateful for.

Take a look – try them out – and see what effect it has on you (I will be).
